All three of the young people who passed away were students.

On Monday night, a shooter opened fire on the Michigan State University campus, injuring five people.

Two of the victims have been positively identified by Michigan State University police. On the family’s request, the third victim’s identity was kept a secret.

The sophomore, Brian Fraser, grew up in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.

At Michigan State University’s Phi Delta Theta chapter, Fraser served as president.

According to a statement from the national chapter of Phi Delta Theta, “Brian was a terrific friend to his Phi Delt brothers, the Michigan State Greek community, and other people he encountered on school.”

Alexandria Verner, a junior from Clawson, Michigan, considers herself a Verner.

In a news release from Clawson Public Schools, Verner, a student in the 2020 graduating class at Clawson High School, was praised as “a fantastic student, athlete, and leader.”

According to the school system, she “exemplified kindness every day of her life.” All of us will always cherish the memories we have of her because she was loved by everyone who knew her.

The district claims that Verner had two siblings in addition to her parents.
